Americans Abroad Network

Supporting each other when far from home

A hub for local suport

The Americans Abroad Network (AAN) represents the ongoing effort of the American Study Abroad Program to create a platform for the exchange of both information relevant to your stay in any particular country, as well as a way to request and extend aid to American citizens looking to undergo any particular activity abroad.

The Americans Abroad Network was started by gathering American alumni of European educational institutions in order to share critical knowledge with potential new students or workers looking to study or settle in Europe respectively. It has since been expanded to include any American residents in Europe that are present or have experience at the local level.

The AAN is currently undergoing a reorganization from using the American Study Abroad Program as an intermediary between separate individuals or groups, to having its own cetralized communication and exchange platform, with ASAP acting mainly as administrator.
